England's players in IPL 2017: With Indian Premiere League (IPL) approaching its 10th edition, speculations about the auctions have speeded up too. Scheduled to be held on Feb 20th in Bengaluru, the IPL 2017 auctions will have as many as 799 players in the list available for bidding. Amongst the seven players who might find the highest bidder in the auction are Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes and Eoin Morgan. The highest base price for IPL 2017 auctions is set to be INR 2 Crore, and notably three English players have been kept in this bracket.
While three out of seven players with highest base price for IPL 2017 auctions are from England, the other four to join the list include Lankan captain Angelo Mathews, former Australian bowler Mitchell Johnson, Indian pacer Ishant Sharma and Australian pacer Pat Cummins.
The franchises have opted to keep two Australians and one Sri Lankan in the highest bracket. Surprisingly, Ishant Sharma is the only Indian to get bidden from Rs 2 crore.
