Manish Pandey, who was also a part of the Indian team in England ODI series earlier this year, got his name in the list for the upcoming CT 2017 but a side strain during the KKR's practice session on the Eliminator eve caused him a drawback.
Karthik is undergoing good touch with bat. 361 runs to his name in 14 games of IPL 2017 is a testimony of his form. In the IPL 10, he batted at an average of 36.10 and a strike rate of 139.38, which is superb for a middle-order batsman. Also, he had a stellar domestic season earlier the cash-rich league. He bagged the man-of-the-match award in the final of Vijay Hazare and Deodhar Trophy.
