Arvind Kejriwal Allegation on PM Narendra Modi
Question in detail
PM Narendra Modi is finding it difficult to find a political ally after banning 1000 and 500 notes. He has many critics, some harsh and others mellow. Arvind Kejriwal doesn't belong to either of these categories. He doesn't oppose PM's move, he defies it?he doesn't call this move wrong, he calls it a scam?he doesn't seem to be afraid, he tries to scare! Yes, that is Arvind Kejriwal to you, probably the numero uno political nemesis of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kejriwal didn't throw his hands up as soon as he learnt of Modi's decision on demonetisation. For two days, there were no media appearance, comments or any hint of how he took this up. For a moment, some thought that Kejriwal would agree with this step of Prime Minister. After all, he is an anti corruption crusader. But, this silence was the lull before the storm. As he later told, he was analysing this decision and understanding its impact and various fallouts. Once he came out, he went all guns blazing against his stand on intent and execution of this step by Modi. he was more vocal than everybody else combined together. He did barrage of press conferences and interviews giving his point of view which was acerbic to say the least. He substantiated his statements with some valid logic like growth in Bank deposits across all the banks in India in the quarter July-August 2016. He made the common people and some financial pundits rethink the so called surgical strike on black money. Arvind Kejriwal, single handedly, took on Narendra Modi and his team on arguably the boldest move made by the PM in his tenure so far.
Kejriwal said this is a tactic to reroute the black money to BJP. He also accused the PM of playing politics months ahead of Punjab and UP elections. He labelled Modi as insensitive to common people's troubles and held him responsible of affliction pain to the Indian populace. There were accusations galore and he was as passionate as the nation saw him during his protest for Jan Lokpal. he seemed to have found his mojo?again!
Do you agree with Arvind Kejriwal's allegation on PM Narendra Modi after the latest demonitization drive?
